There’s nothing quite like a great cup of coffee to start your day off right. While you can always turn to chain stores, like Starbucks, sometimes you want something more. If you’re in search of the perfect cup near Pinehurst on Providence, there are quite a few coffee shops for you to consider. How can you choose the right one? These are some of the best to ponder as you search for your next cup or your next hangout.

In fact, Mugs works to accommodate those who need a place to work, offering plenty of outlets throughout the cafe.

Julia’s Cafe and Books
Coffee and books go hand in hand, and you’ll be able to enjoy both at this little treasure. Though it’s in Cotswold (so not technically in SouthPark), it’s close enough to warrant a drive. You’ll find Julia’s Cafe and Books at 1133 North Wendover Road. This coffee shop serves up Magnolia Coffee Co. products, which are locally roasted, as well as snacks, salads, and sandwiches featuring locally sourced ingredients. Many items are organic. The book selection is a treasure trove of unique and even rare books that you can’t find anywhere else.
Undercurrent Coffee
Undercurrent Coffee offers SPIRIT Tea, from-scratch pastries, and their own fresh brewed coffee which is roasted in the Ozarks. The menu includes house-made sodas, lattes, drip coffee, pour over coffee, cold brew, espresso, cappuccino, and more. It also serves breakfast and a variety of salads and grain bowls. Undercurrent Coffee is located at 2012 Commonwealth Avenue.
